Our client in Allen, TX is seeking a Picker/Packer and a Material Management Operator (Material Handler) to join their team. As a Picker/Packer or Material Management Operator (Material Handler), you will be part of the warehouse department supporting production. The ideal candidate will have a solid work history, team player skills, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.Openings: Picker/Packer & Material Management Operator (Material Handler)Location: Allen, TXPay Range: $18.00 – $21.00 / hr depending on experienceSchedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm with occasional overtime on Fridays depending on business needsWork type: Temp-to-permWhat’s the Job? Manually move freight, stock, or other materials Receive the material delivered by the suppliers from the trucks and stock it in a dedicated area; load and ship the delivery to a specified distribution center Deliver material to production Issue, pick, and pack materials to be delivered and repack them if needed In charge of running a specific transaction into SAP in order to receive the material into the systemWhat’s Needed? Warehouse experience – including order picking, order packing, and material handling experience SAP experience Stand-up reach forklift experience preferred, or willingness and ability to be trained on one Ability to walk at least 13,000 steps / 5 miles a day Solid work history AND work ethic Team player skills and attention-to-detailWhat’s in it for me?
